Make Ape is a small company based in Hillmorton, Christchurch bringing the people of New Zealand a premium product at a reasonable price.  Seeing a gap in the market for quality boards that don't cost an arm and a leg we got to work, sourcing suppliers and manufacturers to back us on our mission.

We keep things plain and simple. No flashy shop or over the top office, we are simply working from our home garage,  keeping our over heads to a minimum so we can sell boards at the best price possible.

We like to have a bit of fun in our process, keep things fresh, new and exciting while holding a high standard of work and product, making sure we have a bunch of happy customers. We practice what we preach, hitting the water or snow as often as possible, owning our own Make Ape gear so we know how to help you with different styles of board.
